CASA volunteers are crucial to determining a child’s best interest. However, most children in Arizona do not have the benefit of a CASA volunteer.
We are always looking for ways to help our supporters make the most of their generosity. One increasingly popular and strategic way to give is through a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)—a simple yet powerful vehicle that allows donors to maximize their charitable impact while enjoying tax benefits.
A DAF is like a charitable savings account. Donors contribute to a fund, receive a tax benefit in that tax year, and then, over time, recommend grant distributions. This gives donors flexibility in their giving while helping to ensure their philanthropy aligns with their long-term financial goals. A DAF can also be part of an estate plan.
To Grant From a Donor-Advised Fund:
- Contact your DAF provider and recommend a grant recipient and grant amount. DAF providers are typically wealth management or financial institutions.
- Reference the organization’s EIN: VOICES is 45-335995
- The DAF provider will review the request, generate payment of the grant and forward supporting documentation to the charitable organization
Please consult your tax advisor for additional details.
