Agency Information: Founded in 1987, Emergency Mobile Pediatric & Adolescent Crisis Teams – Suicide Prevention Center (EMPACT-SPC), a member agency of La Frontera Arizona, is an industry leading non-profit behavioral health organization dedicated to providing valued community services in the areas of suicide prevention, crisis intervention, counseling, substance abuse, trauma healing, and prevention programming to individual and families. EMPACT-SPC provides services to Maricopa and Pinal Counties.
About Your Presenters:
Renée Ouellet has a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University, and has been working as a Prevention Coordinator for La Frontera, EMPACT-Suicide Prevention Center for nine years. She has been instrumental in the implementation of psychoeducational and mental health screening programs for youth in Maricopa County.
Patricia Iniguez graduated from Arizona State University with a Master of Social Work and has been a member of the EMPACT prevention team for three years. She facilitates youth suicide and drug prevention programs, as well as a senior peer counseling program in partnership with the City of Chandler.
